The installation Corpus Delicti consists of cast concrete jugs, which refer to Heinrich von Kleist‘s “The Broken Jug” and the criticism of justice contained therein. In particular, the question of transparency in trials is also addressed by the chalk drawing on the floor and the floor pattern of the Palace of Justice in Istanbul depicted therein. The solid material, which also refers to the powerful representative buildings of courthouses in general, contrasts with the immaterial idea of justice that is practiced within them.
